Martin Dillon is a litigation specialist in Hamilton, New Zealand.
Martin has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Auckland. He has practiced law for over 15 years and achieved results in a broad range of cases.
Civil Disputes
Martin takes on a range of civil cases, from relatively minor private disputes to large-scale litigation between multinational corporations.
Martin deals with: negligence, professional misconduct, commercial contracts, farming and manufacturing, intellectual property, duties of care, special relationships, trusts, shareholder disputes, insurance claims, foreign judgments, appeals and arbitrations. These types of cases tend to come before the High Court and appellate courts.

Martin represents criminal defendants in all courts and at all stages of the criminal justice process. That includes the Parole Board and the High Court, as well as the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.

Martin majored in Philosophy for his Bachelor of Arts Degree, with a particular focus on ethics. He is a legal aid provider, published CourtKeys.com and developed VOS Data Conversion. He has received awards for innovations in access to justice at the APAC Legal Awards in 2022 and the Lawyer International Legal 100 Awards in 2023.
